Blue Bie is an Outremer 40/43, built by Atélier Outremer
in La Grande Motte, France, in 1999. More than 50 Outremer 40/43 have been built to date. "Like all the Outremer boats, its living space is, of course, lower than its competitors', but sailing comfort and performance are definitely there." (Excerpt from the homepage of Atélier Outremer). The Outremer 43 is the in the stern and cockpit extended version of the Outremer 40.
